I don't see the Internal Hard Drive that I placed in an external enclosure showing a drive on my computer?
Question:
Bought a western digital caviar gp 500gb internal hard drive. I had no extra bays inside computer so I bought a KINGWIN Z1 Series 3.5" Black USB 2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure. The hard drive to the external enclosure connection went just fine. Connected it to the computer usb port and XP located it like it should. The problem is, is that I dont see the drive in My Computer so I can actually use it. I go to add new hard ware and it says that it's hooked up and working fine. But I don't see anything. I don't see my extra 500gigs so that I can drag and drop and stuff. Shouldn't it pop up like a regular external hard drive? Where is it? Help Please.
