How do I put MS Office on my Dell Inspiron Mini when I don't have a CD drive?
Question:
I just purchased a Dell Inspiron Mini and it doesn't have a CD drive. I have MS Office 2007 on a disk and tried copying it to a Usb Drive to load it onto this computer, but it said it was missing a file. Is there any other way of doing this?
Answer:
It seems like the only way is using an external CD drive.
I suggest installing Open Office, which is just as good as Office, it's free, can open all the same files and formats the same. You can even save as an Office document if you're sending it to someone that will open it using Office.
