How can I repair my seagate ST380011A hard Disk Drive?
Question:
Actually, my 80 GBytes sea-gate hard disk drive is not functioning right now. All my important data since last six years is on the disk. I can't figure out what could be the problem. Its just not working now. I am not in the mood to give my hard disk drive to any technician here. I want to ask that can I remove the disk from this disk drive and put in some other working, same capacity, disk drive?
The disk drive is like dead, its not reading the disk nor funtioning properly, not booting its own windows, not being good as slave as well. I just want to know, if I place the disk of this disk drive in some other working disk drive, would I be able to get the data out or not?
