I need a new hard drive for my XPS M1710?

It won't boot, it says can find bootable devices or something like that. I think it's either a operating system issue or hard drive issue, either way it only has an 80gb dirve, so I need a compatible drive for it. Where can I get one? Thanks!

Since this is a dell laptop I would strongly suggest going to the Dell forums to ask for help. You will get better advice there and often Dell tech people answer questions.

The fact it cannot find a bootable device means either to loader has been pooched or the disk is corrupted.
If you have your Dell recovery disks you could use them to try and do a repair install. Or try to fix the master boot record (http://askbobrankin.com/fix_mbr.html). Maybe worth trying those first before going for a new disk.
