The Perkins thermostat 4133L507 is the core component of the engine temperature control system, which adopts a bimetallic sensing structure and can automatically adjust the opening according to the coolant temperature, enabling the engine to quickly reach the optimal working temperature (82-90 ℃), shorten the cold start preheating time, and reduce low-temperature wear. When the temperature exceeds the threshold, the valve quickly opens to guide the coolant into the radiator for heat dissipation, avoiding engine overheating and forming a dynamic temperature control balance.
The temperature sensing element adopts high-precision expansion alloy, and the temperature sensing error is controlled within ± 1 ℃, which increases the response speed by 30% compared to ordinary thermostats, ensuring stable temperature of the engine under different working conditions such as idle and high speed. The shell is made of heat-resistant cast iron material, and after nitriding treatment, the surface hardness reaches HV600. It can withstand long-term immersion in coolant without corrosion, and has excellent anti vibration performance. In the continuous vibration environment of the engine, the internal spring and valve connection parts are not loose, ensuring long-term stable operation.
The compatible models cover Perkins 1100 series and 1300 series engines, including mainstream models such as 1104D-44T and 1306E-E87TAG, which are widely used in cooling systems for construction machinery and generator sets. The installation adopts a snap on interface design, and the clearance between the fitting and the water pipe is precisely ground without the need for additional sealant. It can be fixed by aligning with the interface and pressing, saving 50% of installation time compared to traditional bolt connections. It is also easy to disassemble and convenient for later maintenance.
For extreme temperature environments, the thermostat is equipped with an anti freeze crack design. When the coolant is below freezing point, the temperature sensing element will trigger the valve to slightly open, avoiding damage to internal components due to ice expansion. The sealing surface of the valve is made of polytetrafluoroethylene material, which can withstand temperatures up to 200 ℃. It fits tightly with the valve seat and has no leakage when closed, ensuring that all coolant flows to the engine cylinder block at low temperatures and improving preheating efficiency.
